Hello,
I am in Luxembourg until the end of September. I recently did a beginners course in fencing and would like to continue. Unfortunately my French is rather bad. Do you offer any classes in English or German, or would it be comprehensible for me to do classes in French?
Thanks for your help and best regards,
Michael
Hello Michael,
Due to technical problems with our website and a change of webmaster, your comment has unfortunately not been read. Our appologies for that.
As you will stay in Luxembourg only till the end of September, I don’t know if you are still interestet to come by? Our training starts the week of 16th of september. For adults training is on Tue 18h30 and Thu 19h00. The Maitre speeks French, but most participants speek english and/or german and language has never been a Problem.
Hope to see you in Limpertsberg at the salle d’armes.
Best regards,
Olivier
Hi, sorry I have to write in English as my French is very bad.
I have 3 children that are doing Elite Fencing lessons in Singapore for the past 1 year. The children (ages 12 yrs old, 10 yrs old and 8 yrs old) have been practising Fencing 2 hours per session and twice per week. They have participated in few local and international Fencing competitions. We are about to move to Luxembourg at the beginning of 2014 (January). I would like to know if it is possible for the children to continue fencing lessons in Luxembourg and perhaps at your school.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thank you and best regards,
Adeline
Dear Adeline,
of course your children are most welcome. Me Szombathy will be in charge for them.
The training for the youngest one is Tuesday and Thursday 16h-17h and for the two bigger ones the same days from 17h-18h30.
It will be best to come to the training and ask for Me Szombathy from the CEL to see for further details. You’ll find the directions to the training hall on our website at the link « entrainements ».
In hope to see you in the fencing hall, we whish you welcome to Luxembourg.
Best regards,
Olivier
Bonjour
Merci
Hello, My son will be seven in December. Would it be possible for him to start fencing lessons this fall? He is in Cycle 2.1 in school. Thank you.
Hello, we will have children from 8 on only, Sorry. Thank you for your interest!
Bonjour,
Hello,
I will be in Luxembourg for some time and would like to recommence fencing. My experience goes back to 1989; however, is restricted to foil. While training and competitions imply the use of electric equipment, my personal preference is to fence with just the foil. Is your salle able to accommodate me ?
Regards,
M Boyd
Dear Mr Boyd
I don’t think that your experience will pose any problem. We are though an Epee only club. If you prefere to continue foil fencing, I would suggest you ask at the Cercle Grand-Ducal d’Escrime, which is using the same fencing facilities.https://www.cgdel.lu/
Best regards,
O.Faber
