đ±đș Strong Representation for Luxembourg at the 2025 European Cup of Club Champions
Luxembourg fencing made its mark at the European Cup of Club Champions, held in Heidenheim, Germany, on 1â2 November 2025.

Three Luxembourg teams â CEL Luxembourg and Escrime Sud Luxembourg â took part in the menâs and womenâs Ă©pĂ©e events, showcasing the countryâs growing depth and ambition on the European stage.
đĄïž CEL Luxembourg â Menâs ĂpĂ©e
The CEL Luxembourg menâs Ă©pĂ©e team, composed mainly of junior fencers, showed strong fighting spirit and maturity beyond their years. The team featured:

- Max Straub
- Aurel Vidali
- Nicolas Wallers
Facing experienced international opponents from clubs such as Levallois (France), Sion (Switzerland), and Fiamme Oro (Italy), the young Luxembourgers fenced with courage and determination.
Their teamwork and resilience earned praise from referees and coaches alike, and they concluded the competition in 19th place out of 22 teams â a promising result that highlights the progress of CELâs youth program and its commitment to developing future elite fencers.
đ€ș Escrime Sud Luxembourg â Womenâs ĂpĂ©e
The womenâs team of Escrime Sud Luxembourg â composed of Scarly Ballester, Imke Duplitzer, and Anna Zens â achieved a solid 11th place finish out of 17 teams.
Throughout the competition, Scarly Ballester showed excellent form, scoring key touches in decisive bouts and continuing her steady rise in international performance. Together, the team demonstrated cohesion and fighting spirit against some of Europeâs top clubs from France, Germany, and Ukraine.
